Jesus (I AM) is Enough

Nov 25, 2022

God said to Moses, “I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
Joel 2:23

The definition of sufficient is enough to meet the needs of a situation. So if we break down this verse, Jesus is basically saying to us, “I AM enough to meet the needs of your situation.” Yes, I capitalized the I AM because that is who God is (Exodus 3:14). In John 18:6, when Jesus said, “I AM He” the soldiers drew back and fell to the ground. Are you starting to see the power of the I AM and how Jesus is enough to meet the needs of your current situation? Also, His power is made perfect in weakness. Why do you think that is? Because when we’re not trying to do it in our own strength, we’re literally leaning on the Everlasting God to do it in His. One more thing I see in this verse: His grace is and His power is…not was!! Therefore, He is never speaking in past tense to you about His grace or power – it’s present tense. What a beautiful revelation today to unpack this verse with you. What is the current situation that you’re facing right now, that you need the I AM to show you His grace is enough to meet your need in and His power is made perfect in your weakness? He’s waiting for you to surrender it to Him, because Jesus (I AM) is enough. Have a blessed day today

Have a blessed day!
